What we collect
Nightlife NOW may process approximate or precise location when you grant permission, app and device diagnostics, city and venue requests, venue-information reports, photo submissions, photo reports, and owner-verification activity. Submitted photos may contain image metadata, but public versions are decoded and re-encoded so unnecessary embedded metadata is not retained for display.
How we use information
We use information to show nearby nightlife, keep venue data current, operate filters and maps, investigate reports, prevent abuse, moderate photos, verify venue authority, improve reliability, and protect users, venues, and creators. Location is used for app functionality and is not sold.
Photos and automated review
Photo submissions are held privately while automated security, safety, quality, duplicate, relevance, and venue-context checks run. Rejected files are scheduled for deletion under bounded retention rules. Approved photos may be displayed for the selected venue until removed, replaced, reported, or revoked.
Service providers
We use infrastructure and app-distribution providers to host data, deliver the service, protect endpoints, process approved automated checks, and diagnose failures. They may process only the information needed to provide those functions under their applicable terms.
Retention and security
We retain operational records only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, dispute prevention, legal obligations, or to prevent rejected material from silently reappearing. Sensitive upload and verification data is separated from public venue records, access-controlled, and never placed in public search results.
Your choices
You may deny or later disable location permission in iOS Settings. You may request access, correction, removal, revocation, or deletion by following the data-deletion instructions. A dedicated privacy mailbox will be published before general App Store release.
Children
Nightlife NOW is intended for adults and is not intended for or directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice.
